Two names on one slot, or a live show instead of a DJ set, reads the same on the poster. Backstage and on the technical rider it is a different booking.

Two artists sharing a slot usually means two agencies, two riders, two travel arrangements and two sets of hospitality. The fee may be quoted together; almost nothing else is.
Agree in advance who is billed for what, and get both parties to confirm the same stage time in writing. A b2b where one side thinks the slot starts half an hour later is a real and common failure.
The booth grows
Two performers need space, monitoring both can hear, and often more channels than a standard setup provides. Check the booth against the combined rider, not against the venue's usual configuration.
Live acts change the day
A live set brings equipment, a longer setup, a real soundcheck and sometimes a technician of its own. That soundcheck has to sit in the running order before doors, which affects load-in for everyone else.
Budget for it as a production item, not only as a fee. The stage time is the same; the day around it is not.
What the audience gets
Both formats are worth the extra work. A b2b sells a moment that cannot be repeated, and a live show gives people something to watch rather than someone to look at. Just do not price or plan either one as a normal DJ slot.
What to write into the offer
Name both artists and the exact slot. State who is responsible for which travel and hospitality. Confirm the combined technical requirement, and say who supplies anything beyond the house setup.
For a live act, add the setup and soundcheck window as a fixed item, not as an intention. That window is the part that collides with everyone else's load-in.
Tell the audience what they are getting
A b2b and a live show are worth promoting as such. "Live" on a poster means something different to a crowd than a DJ set, and people plan their night around it.
It also sets expectations correctly. Someone who arrives expecting a two-hour DJ set and finds a seventy-minute live show has a worse night than one who knew.
